The Timely Arrival of BrowserID

Here’s an interesting development. Here we all are trying to improve the user experience of online news and what do the good folks at Mozilla pull out of their collective hat? Only a service that solves the whole thorny issue of identity.

Not only does this make it easier to solve the problems I want to solve, it’s also an object lesson in bringing a clever, complex idea into reality. In particular, they have a really nice mockup of how a production version of BrowserID might work. Thanks. I might have to steal that later on.

And So It Begins

Apparently I need one of these blog things for this MoJo business. Interesting stuff. My sister tells me this is the site all the cool kids use. It does look very nice, in an Appley kind of way. Must resist temptation to waste time finding out what everything does.
